Hello and welcome to the very first Cake Bag blog post. I’m Rachel, you may have seen me before or I may have met you at Cake International (it was great to meet so many of you that weekend!) but if not, here’s a bit about me.
Being easily excited about all things cake, I was really keen to quit my job and work in the cake world, so that’s exactly what I did in March last year. I thought about how great it would be to receive a package of cake decorating goodies through the post every month and after doing some research I realised this was something I could do. Cake Bag was born and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done! I’ve loved bringing you a collection of cake decorating tools, equipment, edibles and extra treats in a gorgeous pink envelope every month and it’s been amazing to see how many of you have been excited to come along on this ride with me.
I’ve wanted to start a Cake Bag blog for a while now but being inundated with your orders every month, it’s been a bit tricky to do it on my own. I knew just the person to ask and I’ve invited our first guest blogger to write some quick and easy tutorials and projects to do using the products inside each Cake Bag.
Welcome Thirzah who writes her own fantastic blog – Cakey Goodness. Thirzah has been a Cake Bag subscriber from the beginning, she is a super talented baker and it’s great to have her on board to bring us some new, easy, exciting ways of using your products.
